I'm a few days late on this, but in honor of what would have been Steve Jobs' 68th birthday, I present some of his own photographs. For those of you who may be unaware, a handful of the desktop backgrounds included within Mac OS X Leopard, released in 2007, were shot by Jobs himself.

It could easily be said that Steve Jobs was a generational talent, however, I'd argue that we won't see the likes of him for many generations. As successful as Apple currently is, it's an open question of what innovations Apple may have brought us had Jobs survived. Steve Jobs died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 56, and we are all poorer for it.
