I was just posting about this and then spotted this in similar posts below. Yeah, this is a bummer, I've always dug both his drumming and his attitude. He was too young for this. RIP Taylor

Yeah, wife told me just a few minutes ago, wow, grew up with these guys (so to speak).

They were touring in South America, at the Bogota stop, and it sounds like he died in his hotel.

Unbelievable! Dave Grohl must be devastated, as he and Taylor were very close and had been for years. Dave grew up in the suburbs of Northern Virginia -- Springfield -- and got his start here with a small local DC group and then connected with Kurt Cobain and, well, we know how that turned out.... Taylor joined the Foo Fighters not too long after Dave Grohl formed the band. Definitely a fantastic drummer! Way too young to have this happen.....

I woke up and saw this news this morning and I’m still completely shocked. I saw the Foo Fighters at Wembley about 10 years ago and being a Nirvana fan prior, always enjoyed the music of this band. So young and so unexpected it’s unreal.
