And I don't care if it's because of so-called "climate change" and endangering the life of my neighbors through less available water. Pffftt. I need to be able to grow my own food for when shit goes down. There isn't a cop within a 100 mile radius that's going to show up to defend my hunger. My water feature supports local bird life. They need it. This isn't about me. If a government official shows up on my porch they're going to be staring down the bowl of a greek orzo pasta salad with a pesto vinaigrette! I will eat on this hill!
