I mean... Most people in this sub will be more interested in what you say than the average person. Even if all of your family members agreed that TikTok is spyware, this wouldn't stop them from using it regularly. Still, they would be satisfied with that. It doesn't seem like the ordinary individual would even be concerned about the effects of having their data sold or exposed or even be a culprit As long as it does not directly conflict with your security requirements as a more privacy-sensitive individual, it is okay that not everyone cares as much about this kind of stuff.
