I want a rear camera, I’ve got a convertible, I don’t wires all over, a camera on the rear window is not an option ( cause the top comes down), am going to talk to a local dash cam installer and see how much more they charge for this service. I think it would require a camera on the exterior rear of the car, unless they know something I don’t, would want to run wires hidden, I assume, a hard wire.

I have an older vehicle. We got a license plate mounted backup camera that wirelessly transmits to a screen in the front. I wonder if they don’t have something similar for always on and recording.
