Who is still around?

Has anyone seen the AI videos with actors from shows. They show the actor as they were on a show and how they look now. So many are wearing Angel Wings indicating they have moved on.

Staggering number of actors from shows I watched growing up are gone. Sad really.

I’ve watched a bunch of them. It was interesting to see who’s still around and who’s not. Scary to learn how many in the latter category were about my current age when they passed.

My only criticism of the AI was that it often made the people who are still alive look much better than they do.

Someone made a claim that Jonathan had died, but it appears to be an April Fool's joke. He is apparently alive and well on the remote south Atlantic island of St. Helena. He was hatched in 1832 and is believed to be the oldest living land animal, that we know of. I think he may be related to the one that has the flat Earth on her back.

Well, famous mountaineer from Seattle, Jim Whittaker, the first American to top Everest, was still around, but he just took the plunge. At age 97, he departed in Port Townsend, which is about as not-mountain as you can get.

Just remembered another one. Joan Collins, who is currently a month shy of her 93rd birthday.

Just remembered another one. Joan Collins, who is currently a month shy of her 93rd birthday.

As a photographer, I like hitting up strangers on the streets of San Francisco for some conversation and making their portrait. I made this one around 15 years ago. We talked for a while and had a nice conversation. Later, when asked, she wouldn't tell me her name. That was a little unusual as everyone else I've hit up for a portrait and conversation over twenty years has told me their name. While I don't know for sure, I think this might be Joan Collins. She did have a slight British accent.
