A smart toaster - where do we draw the line?

I have a smart japanese rice cooker. And I mean, really smart. It has a bunch of sensors that measure the temperature and who knows what in multiple spots and adjusts the cookie process accordingly. The result is phenomenally tasty rice. No touchscreens though.
