After a few attempts at posting with zero likes/feedback I've pretty much given up. They're pretty much the same that way, it takes time and effort to grow them and I don't have it in me to start from ground up again.
Threads was at able to tap into their existing Instagram base so it gave them a pretty big advantage.

MAGA is the worst Fool’d Ya appropriation of a label I can think of, cloaking something vile, evil, authoritarian, dictorial into something that pretends to be positive, appealing to the worst in human beings making some of them actually think they are good as they scheme to take rights away from others.Who knew the MAGA world would go so far off the rails it even made the moderation at MR look sane.

When I look at Mastodon, I see almost no hate speech or teh stupid. Not sure why that is. Maybe the instance I view from somehow pushes away the garbage.
