That movie in a sense may have affected 20+ years of our lives. In 1995 we went to Phoenix for a conference and planned to stay a couple of extra days since we had never been there. We were trying to find someplace to go the day before we left for home and it came down to Sedona or Tombstone as we though the GC was a bit too far. We loved the movie and basically flipped a coin and ended up visiting Tombstone. A little touristy, but enjoyed it nonetheless.

Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2017 when we got to see Sedona. At that point it was over and we knew we were going to live there. But had we seen it in 1995, we most likely would have made it out here 20+ years earlier. So had that movie not been made, it may have changed our entire life.

My mistake its Toroweap, but I am sure google would have corrected it. Also FWIW that road to Toroweap is where tires go to die. Hence the two trip attempt.
