Sandhill cranes: their plumage is so silky, grey and orange. Other times the same cranes were completely orange.
Maybe were they juvenile or female cranes ?
Last night's supermoon over San Francisco, the smoke in the air really made for the orange and red colors. We won't have another like this for many years.
