I'm trying astrophotography with a wide angle lens
Did a lot of experiments few days ago while we had a clear sky -smoke and clouds free
I got some Perseids , two ...still have to make a wish

Another shot of the moon before it disappears. This location was not ideal for a couple of reasons, first is that if you park near the road you risk getting robbed or having your car broken into because it's near a well known tourist spot at night.

So I opted to find a nearby side road and setup in the woods, that area is known for coyotes and cougars, either way it was risky and I downplayed it to my wife who is always worried when I got out at night.
