I'm now known to say "we can use the rain" from time to time and my wife says the same thing after hearing me bitch about it for so many years.

What's awesome about Bay Area rain is you get a storm that moves through and it's done, even a few of them a year aren't so bad. In Oregon it's a dreary gray for like 9 months a year.

.. an early-morning "walk in a light, misty rain" that I really did find "calming" .. so quiet, and peaceful ... never saw another person while out on my walkabout ... only a couple of ravens calling each other, which added another natural touch to the morning's experience. (photo of a view taken during a very early-morning walk in Harrison Hot Springs, BC, back in April, 2019).
