.. one more photo from our early-morning Mother's Day walk yesterday -- treated to a rather close view of a Great Blue Heron during our walk around an apartment's courtyard pond -- though surprised at how close it let us walk by, we did as much as we could to not encourage a flee response, and it seemed to work.

My old dog. I miss her: husky are amazing.. to run away too
We called her Houdini because some of her escapades were really something. She could jump almost 2 metres high without taking a running start.
