Apologies if I'm breaking the rules, since this shot of the Rockies is a few weeks old. The mountain on the right is Longs Peak, one of Colorado's 14ers. The only one I've ever visited the top of was Pikes Peak, and I did that by cogwheel train.

I also found out I’ve been being a beeist, calling them bumble bees when they are carpenter bees. In easy to understand kitchen table issues language bubble bees have a fuzzy butt and carpenter bees have a shiny glossy butt.
