I discovered that the street my old HS was on had been renamed. In another part of town, it is a busy arterial, but near my old school, it is a residential street, that has breaks in its run, but the city renamed every bit of it. Then, as I was leaving the area, I noticed another street that had been similarly renamed for its entire length. So, in a quiet residential neighborhood, I found this.

Not sure if they ever met in real life.

. nice to see there's still some colour around - from a morning walk this week..

.. and even more colour when I enterd a local Municipal Park for a walkabout the other day - I had a fine, early morning for my walk, and was greeted by a lovely, colourful view at the entrance to the park for my visit - sure enjoyed.

This is a really an awful picture, because it was a stealth snap inside the Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland. Had to do it since I have never seen anything like it!
