Pluribus (with spoilers)

Hoping it moves along at some point, the overly cynical incessant anger/whining is never ending and doesn't seem to be going anywhere. My wife likes it though so we'll keep watching and it does have decent production value so there's that.

Here's the Reddit discussion for episode 3, nice mixed bag of comments in there.

I was pleased with E3. Finally got to see other people. But I still wonder what they now supreme their days doing.

E4 was much better, it was nice to see Carol show an ounce of humanity for a change and they're starting to move the plot along.

yep. Reminds me a lot of the pacing of better call saul. Starts slow spending a lot of time introducing you to concepts and characters, then takes off.

Any guesses on what Carol found in the freezer? Wondering if it's dead people.

First off, I don't think they'll address it in the next episode. They probably will segue the story to another "individual" character story. Second, I don't know if it is a body, or it at least wasn't a whole body, because it took her too long to react. Maybe it is a body part in transition to the ingredient of the "Milk" substance, brains, livers, but something definitely organic because of the crows dipping into the bag.

I don’t think they’ll hide it for too long. In breaking bad and bcs, Gilligan would sometimes show you a glimpse of the future and make you wait all season to find out how it got there, but that glimpse was always a time jump. I doubt he’d rely on the “Walking Dead”-style “cliffhanger and then switch to different characters” cliche.

I hope not. I want the focus to remain on Carol, and not turn into a messy ensemble show.

i mean, my immediate thought was “soylent green.”
That was my first thought, too. But it also won't surprise me if it turns out to be something else.

Hard to know for sure but it had to be bad to make ever-stoic Carol cringe.
