Watson (2025) - Stars Morris Chestnut as Dr. Watson in a twist of Sherlock Holmes.

First episode was slow to build as they were doing character development, but will definitely watch a couple more episodes before deciding. Wife says it reminds her of House will a less obnoxious Dr.

Will add that to our list!

Vikings (2013-2020) Watching on Netflix, but this may have been a History Channel show. Six seasons, just finished season 1. Good story so far about Ragnarok Lothbrok, a Viking who is credited with invading the land across the Great Sea, England.

I did not know that Vikings made human sacrifices to their Gods. Ok, it’s possible that I might have known, but forgot. 🤔 They had orgies too. 😁

Vikings Series- During a couple of episodes there was an older Viking who begged Ragnar to go adventuring with him, because he was pissed all his friends where in Valhalla partying with Oden and he wanted his chance but no one had yet killed him in battle. Such a positive view of dieing. ☺️

I watched the entire show 2004-2010. Currently on Netflix.

If you never saw it, a trans-Pacific flight, hits severe turbulence and crashes on an island, 48 survivors find themselves on a very mysterious island, they all have pasts which through flashbacks are sampled. This is so good! It’s when I fell in love with Bad Robot, before JJ screwed the pooch with StarWars. 🤔

Series Ending Spoiler: https://ew.com/lost-ending-explained-8715629

E1: Jack, the hound doctor wakes up in a bamboo grove. A Golden Retriever runs by. Crash, survivors on beech, unseen loud thing tromps around the jungle at night knocking over trees, trek into jungle to find cockpit and emergency radio, unseen monster pulls pilot out of cockpit, kills him, they run for their lives.
E2: Climb that mountain… Go to top of mountain to find a signal. Attacked by a polar bear. With radio, they pick a mysterious message in French “come help me, they’re all dead”, and an iteration no. 175294535, message has been repeating for 16 years.

My son's favorite series of all times. He's probably watched every episode a dozen times.

We've been watching a little series called School Spirits. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21057450/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_1_tt_7_nm_0_in_0_q_sp
It's coming to the end of season 2. Really dark.

New season of White Lotus on HBO or Max or whatever they call it now.
My plan is to subscribe when both the wife and I can catch this, Chernobyl, and the SexITC sequel, whatever it’s called.

The PITT on MAX. Although I hear that Season 2 may not happen due to a current lawsuit by the ER creators.

Severance Season 2. Really started to enjoy starting in Episode 4.

I’ve a feeling it’ll happen, the show is pretty good. They originally tried to work out an ER reboot deal with Michael Crichton’s estate but negotiations were going on and on and on so the Pitt creators altered course. My legal opinion is that Crichton’s estate is butthurt (also greedy) 🤣.

I’m off Serverance. I often don’t know what’s going on and the mystery isn’t interesting to me. My wife is pushing on without me even though she essentially feels the same way.

You can do this ongoing mystery stuff in many ways and still maintain interest. I was often lost watching Mr Robot and The Expanse, both riveting shows, IMO, so I kept watching. I’ve come to think that Severance is overrated. Both of the other shows I’ve mentioned are better and weren’t as popular AFAIK.

I'm not giving up on it.

Finished the Big Bang Theory for the first time. Not really happy with everything, but overall, it was still pretty good.
Currently watching Love it Or List it. I think we are 6-7 seasons in. I'm still amazed that they can find people who don't have any idea what things cost.
