Wild parrots of San Francisco

Fun fact, San Francisco has a pretty huge wile parrot population due to them being released here a while back. While I was in the city one day I sawn them all flocking to this porch and decided to get a shot of it. They're also really loud and screech when flying around.

It's really bizarre for a city bird but hearing how loud they are it would drive me nuts if I had to live near them, I had to stop my car because I thought there was a belt was squealing.

Good grief! That would be cool to see them but definitely not to have to listen to them if they're that loud and raucous!

I believe I saw a documentary on the SF parrots, or at least an extended news story. Seeing parrots out in the wild feels like seeing your school teacher in the grocery store. No reason it can't happen and yet feels like it's not possible when it does.

We have some living in a tree in our backyard (South Bay). Fun to watch.

after having parrots wild ones would give you the benefit but without the hassle of having them in a cage.

We have wild donkeys here. They like their space in general, but they are usually pretty calm, unless they have foals with them. In such cases, they usually have a lookout that stares people down.
