There seems to be a prominent display of the “Metal” logo on wwdc marketing and I really hope that’s a sign of some significant improvements to it. Maybe Metal 4?

Where are you seeing that? I looked a week ago for Metal-related hints and didn’t see much.

I may have over-egged the pudding! The group labs mention Metal and gaming and there is this advert on twitter.

It seems that Metal will feature prominently along with owls and pigs.

Right on. I noticed the group sessions (also an ML session, which should have some Metal-related stuff). My emoji-fu isn’t good enough to figure that ad out, but I’m hopeful since Metal is on there. Maybe the flying pig means that our low probability wishes for MacOS will come true
