In latest round of blistering attacks by Michael Cohen, he's quoting Trump on how he feels about black people and Barack Obama. Mr Cohen has his own credibility issues but this sounds exactly like something Trump would say.

Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's former fixer and personal attorney, claims his former client once said "only the blacks" could live in difficult conditions as the duo drove through a predominantly black neighborhood in Chicago.

"Only the Blacks could live this way," Mr Cohen told NBC News in an interview to air on Tuesday to coincide with the release of his new tell-all book. "I, of course, said to him, 'Well that's not really true,'" Mr Cohen claimed. "He goes, 'No, only the Blacks could live this way.'"

Mr Cohen also contended to NBC that Mr Trump's longtime disdain for former President Barack Obama stems from the 44th commander in chief being both black and the country's first black president.

Exactly. It's like on one hand, everyone surrounding Trump is a known and verifiable liar. They shouldn't be trusted on their word alone. But on the other, they're all saying basically the same things, and their stories corroborate quite well.

So either all these known liars are working in tandem, committing a conspiracy to smear Trump's reputation, or they're telling the truth.

After I watched his first debate in 2016, I had to look out the window to make sure he's really talking about the city I live in. Chicago is hands down the best US city I've ever lived in. I found it hilarious when the city came up in casual conversations and people expressed their worry about the city's horrible safety. Truth be told the south west side is a war zone, but outside of that? It's the most European city after NYC, but with nice people.
