@Alli I wonder if keychain works on all MacOS compatible browsers?

I seem to recall setting it up to work with Chrome, but I don’t recall if it worked consistently.

I have to admit that, after trying different Password Managers, I settled for using the one built into iCloud. It's simple, does what I need and cuts down on the amount of cruft I have on devices.

Lastpass just announced their second breach this year. Even though they claim your vaults are still safe, its not a good look.

Anyone going passwordless with passkeys? I am starting to consider changing to this where I can, but not all sites have adopted this.

Something different needs to be done. It seems like every time I am forced to create a strong PW with LastPass I run into a slew of issues:

• To save the PW I have to login to LP, oh I haven't used it in a couple of weeks so now I have to go through extra steps to authenticate, now it doesn't accept those credentials either. Did I typo or did I get it wrong? Not sure, let me reset and try again.
• Open a new browser session or access from another device - see above - or it's nowhere to be found. Let's create another one and try again.
• The PW LP puts in is entirely wrong for no known reason. Start over.

I understand it's up to me to manage properly but it's such a pain in the ass. It's to the point that I just save them to a Note that's PW protected with a known PW, entirely defeating the purpose.

When I was in IT and we enforced stronger PW restrictions people would write them down on sticky notes and you would always see them at their desks, and this was at a bank. I'm looking forward to more streamlined and manageable solutions in the future.

I'm fine with the new Passwords app. I only started with Keychain last year, very slow adoption.

I love the new app. I also love being able to share passwords.

Wow I have several that are compromised, over 160. Some are recently changed and strong too. Guess I'm getting hacked because there's no way I'm going through all those sites, many of which I haven't visited for years.

Like you, I've not visited many in years. Someday I'll go through there and clean things up. It's just such a boring job.
