i released about a half dozen in there some months ago. They were the offspring of one I caught in the front yard. With this pair I caged the female and left the male in the green house. The female should lay her egg sacks in the cage. And repeat.

They have their little personalities and as the only insect that can turn their head you can tell they are well aware of you and their environment.

She’s been big on displaying her wings lately. Not really sure why. Usually associated with a threat display when they see a predator but I’ve been catching it out of the corner of my eye when I’m not even close. If I go to open the cage to take a better picture she puts them back down. You’d think she’d keep them out if she felt threatened.
