Captured this on my older X100 (processed through iridient and then black and white treatment in PS).
I was crossing the road and saw this lady crossing with her pet pidgeon resting on her head. I pulled my camera out and thankfully got a lucky one.
What I love about it is the tattoo of the word 'love' on her hands.
I'm making a small album at home at the moment for just everyday photo documentary stuff I have captured. This is one , while not a particularly special photo or technically amazing, I still really enjoy.
I'm going to make an effort to share some more photos here - my wife tells me not to be so self conscious and just share. I'm also going to try and share a little about where I was, why I shot it and what I shot it with in the hopes that it might help you guys connect with the images in the way that I did.
May I respectfully suggest that we all start to do this. In a day and age of taking a photo, BAM and quickly uploading, taking a few moments to just share why you shot it, where, what you shot it on, why the image resonates with you can really help (IMHO anyway) to connect with the image.
