Plums seem late this year. There were several where I used to work that came full-on on March First – you could set your calendar by them.

Here is a picture of my high school, from the parking lot

It opened in 1969. I particularly appreciated the stone/aggregate exterior walls and the modern design, though there were some among us who yearned for more classical styling. I guess I never noticed that we could see Mt. St. Helens on a good day (center of the image, in a tree), but back then, meh, it was just a mountain.
