Not my typical thing but I got these coolio pieces of sea glass, actual glass from trash on the beach that has been weathered over time to create really beautiful colors and textures. You can go and collect it from many of the beaches on the California coast.

These came out nice ... SOP, bus drop off, hit the beach for a 7:20a sunrise.

The first is just as the sun barely peeked over the horizon, and second is full bloom

Again, very lightly edited, I also shot a few (#2 above) with a 16:9 ratio vs. the standard 4:3, using the 1X, so I got a wider shot, with the better lens ... I think.

This is fun, had a nice moment of the sun ++and++ moon together, managed to get a shot, the moon is a bit tiny:

We also walked over to the park and used the public over-the-road-crosswalk, made for a neat pic, the things that look like locks - are locks, couples put them up, for a "love" expression.

Huh, I just realized that crosswalk photo above looks like a set piece from a Saw movie ...
