Now Trump hauled out his "i love clean air and water" and "if California would just rake its forests but no they're littered with trees and leaves and things..." as a response to Wallace question about climate change. Jesus.

Trump’s falling apart again. Wallace actually has to tell him, “Stop!”

This is running long because Trump can’t shut up.

Post debate analysis on MSNBC: Nicole Wallace says it felt like abuse, with Trump the abuser and Chris Wallace among the abused.

Trump was indeed not in control of himself. As Rachel Maddow pointed out, he couldn’t make himself stop talking. He had diarrhea of the mouth. Joy Reid said that for other countries watching, this was embarrassing to us.

Biden on the other hand looked calm but firm. I loved that he looked at the camera a lot, and I loved that he told Trump to shut up a couple of times.

And tomorrow all the MAGA folks will be talking about how badly Trump was treated in the debate.

What a horrible and painful 90 minutes. I love Chris Wallace, but he did not moderate. For the next two debates we need Samuel L. Jackson to be the moderator.

Trump was an intolerable boorish troll. Biden held his own reasonably well. He only lost his cool a few times.

IMHO what's happening to Trump is what happens to authoritarians. Nobody around him speaks up and he just gets lazy. The two take home messages from this is A) Trump really didn't do the math for the vaccinations (you need to vaccinate about 5million people a day to finish the vaccination in 2 months). B) He is purposefully winking out to white supremacists and stokes violence.

Who all is going to be watching? TBH I usually do not and wait for the highlights. This thing is 90 minutes and there's no way I can listen to Trump for even a fraction of that without wanting to drive off a cliff.
I started and in the early exchanges got sick of Mr Tough Guy Snowflake who kept butting in and Biden ended up calling him a clown. It‘s those beady eyes and snear of falsetto bravado with the giant gold chip on his shoulder.

He would not disavow white supremicists, a vital part of his base.

I enjoyed the WaPo's post-debate chats and a few clips from the debates to illustrate the points they were making. Gee, Trump was completely unable to follow the rules the campaigns had agreed on. I suppose his bullying thrilled his supporters, but the constant interruptions were exasperating.

Wallace probably did the best anyone could with Trump just steamrolling. Trump only hears keywords of questions or remarks by his opponent and then just goes off. He must be nightmare in a policy meeting.

Maybe the mods of remaining prez debates should be able to turn off mics and tell the debaters ahead of time "when this flashing red light comes on you're not on air any more so STFU."

Watching the post-debate coverage, from the sounds of it I would've thrown something heavy at my tv and I really like that tv. It appears that it was a total shitshow in every way and Biden tried to be the only one to address the issues to the American people, is that about right?

Also, not condemning white supremacists was a HUGE gaffe from him IMO. This was not one of his rallies, 80 million people were watching. And "Proud Boys" sounds like the name of the site a Republican congressman would get caught renting a male escort from., I know the KKK was already taken but they can do better.
