Has BMW mentioned adding some sort of pet mode so it stays on longer?Yes. Half hour.
@Cmaier What free EA plan did you get? I think they moved to a total power consumed vs. duration (our is unlimited, 30 minutes at a time, hour between, for 2 years).

What do you guys think of this interview?
EDIT: Also makes you wonder how they are getting said data, do you guys approve a datasharing option when using the Infotainment unit?
BTW, just checked the app, and so far I’m getting 3 mi/kWh and have driven 104 miles. The “community average” is 3.1 mi/kWh.
Battery capacity is 113.4 kWh, allegedly. Which matches the car telling me I have about 340 miles range on 100% charge.
What data does BMW receive from your vehicles? In the BMW portal, you can go to Car Data and download everything that's shared, also a full report of the hardware, battery condition, etc.

My Ariya shares info with Nissan. I get emails from them saying things like "you have 8795 miles on your car, come in to get your tires rotated." It probably sends all manner of telemetrics, who can guess. And of course it has a mic so it could be bugging me. What really matters is not what is reported but to whom the data gets sold. What data does BMW receive from your vehicles?
L2 through the show?Valet hooked us up to a charger, so leaving with 100%

Discovered that if you block the eyeball camera located in the dash it will still allow for all of the driver assist features with the exception of Assist Plus, which is for hands free on known areas of the freeway.
The problem is you can't look away for even a couple of seconds without getting warnings, I mean basic stuff like looking out one side or the other. Taking a drink of coffee or a bite of food, reaching for something for a moment, etc. Like the Tesla, it's pointless because it doesn't assist you as it's too busy babysitting you.
I always have a hand on the wheel anyway so I don't mind that part, I used my gas receipt as you can see and it works like a charm. So as long as you have a hand on the wheel you have a lot more freedom and it still feels nice and safe.
