Yeah they are gonna have to pay. What I am curious about is if NHTSA will have Telsa remove accelerator input when FSD is active. That seems to be the fastest fix for pedal confusion.


@Cmaier while it is possible FSD accelerated to 70 before running into the house, based on many miles of use, it doesn't seem likely (assumption there would be more instances of this happening across billions of claimed miles driven). I do wonder if Mercedes is seeing this and has an answer for it when their point to point system launches at the end of the year (assuming they don't quietly walk that back).
