The Republican Agenda 2021 and Forward

Or, gods forbid we pay people money to do undesirable jobs.

Yeah, and the screwed up part is we already have people willing to do the work for crap pay and pay taxes on top of it if you leave them alone, but the current admin wants to round them up, even if they are NOT of illegal status. I really wish people would have taken more note of what JD Vance was saying. Trump will just lie and say he wants to go after gang members and criminals, and will at least lie about someone and call them that if he wants them gone. Vance said he doesn’t care about legal status, and that was the truth.

In between the courts overturning the admins decisions and the admin ignoring the orders, they have a window before the courts figure out what to do, which I’m guessing will be nothing without a functioning congress to back them up. I suspect the administration will be going after legal status citizens and trying to ship them to Timbuktu before anything can be done about it.

Elon Musk’s checks for a million dollars and wearing a cheese hat did not score him or the GOP the open WI Supreme Court Seat.

I thought she had no chance, was very surprised by this. Wow, people really do hate Musk, on the news earlier they said many were offended that he came and paid all that money.

The wild part is he "gave" money to preselected folks, the randomness was all a sham. I mean I guess that isn't wild per se, but you get my point.

I don't get this whole trope that protesters are paid, I went to one and it was all just regular working class people who wanted their voices to be heard. Sounds like right wing media bullshit to me.

Hmmm, I must tell my SO since she was at one protest already and going to another one. I want to see those checks!

She surely has a fat check from George Soros though, Fox News wouldn't make up such bullshit.

No, but they got Voter ID enshrined in the state Constitution.
They had the law in place already, it's no different than California enshrining the right to abortion in their constitution. But if it makes them feel better to codify it than sure, why not. This is not the flex Republicans were hoping for last night though.

Great, I would get busy finding the next reason to whine and cry about non-existent voter fraud now that they’ve gotten their wish. Let’s not pretend this was ever about secure elections or voter fraud - your side has the verifiably, objectively biggest scumbag criminal election fraudsters that exist in the US of A.

So now that you’ve got your little voter ID in place, I’m sure no republican will ever cry about voter fraud or fabricate something else out of thin air when they are sore losers and can’t accept the will of the voters.

You and I both know, if only we had ID laws Trump would have graciously accepted defeat in 2020 and January 6 never would have happened.

Anyways good on Wisconsin, they can expose the GOP when voter ID doesn’t help them and they also defeated Musk, who is apparently the face and voice of the GOP. I guess if a chainsaw goes over well a f*******g cheese hat and talking about Teslas ought to score you the win in a big judicial race.

Anyways, come back when your side isn’t insane anymore.

But he wore a cheese hat. Seriously, he thinks the voters are dumb and he’s mostly right. I’m just glad Wisconsin voters were the exception this time.

Wasn’t all that close either.
