I just realized this little tradition that should have stopped years ago also added an extra hour to the stress. So again, good job to the planning committee on this one. I’m sure it would have been a disaster if you put it off for one goddamn week. 😛

It needs to roll back this one last time. This is natural time, as the good lord above intended. Noon is actually noon again.

You would be hard pressed to find anyone in Congress who doesn't support eliminating DST. So why can't they pass a bill?

Not sure how AZ would handle it though as they like standard time and not daylight time. Probably have to redraw that zone.

In case you didn't know, AZ doesn't change their clocks. Except in the Navajo Nation so they can stay consistent with the rest of the NN. But the Hopi Nation which is wholly contained within the NN does change their clocks. Also, the areas around Page, although in the NN stays with Phoenix so that visitors to Antelope Canyon etc don't miss their tours. Clear as mud right?

I do prefer daylight savings time as opposed to standard time, but if it means we don't have to change our clocks, it is worth it.

As one who gets jetlag every time we change the clocks I concur, it really seems pointless and I envy AZ for getting a free pass on it.

Fall back doesn't bother me much. I wake up at the same time, feeling like I'm getting up an hour earlier. It's spring forward that kicks my ass.
 
Oh my god. This had to have been sabatoge. Folks, this is how you expose Trumpers - use their ego and over-inflated sense of talent against them.

Like, even if I was a hardcore republican, I would ask her to keep this limited to the 7am karaoke crowd.

Top pollster Nate Silver has released his long-awaited final prediction of the 2024 election hours before the polls close across the U.S.

And he says it's 'literally closer than a coin flip,' and potentially the closest election in U.S. history just hours before the polls close on Tuesday.

After 80,000 model simulations, Silver has Democrat Kamala Harris beating Donald Trump in the majority of match ups.

'Empirically, heads wins 50.5 percent of the time, more than Harris's 50.015 percent,' Silver said on Tuesday morning.

According to his model, Harris wins the Electoral College in 50.015% of the simulations compared to Trump's 49.985%. That equates to Harris winning 40,012 simulations to Trump's 39,718.

'When I say the odds in are about as close as you can possibly get to 50/50, I'm not exaggerating,' Silver said.

When I was in WV this is the one I dreaded more than going forward. I would be in a funk for almost a week. I had to be age because when I was younger, I loved the extra hour of sleep. :)
