Mac Pro Reportedly on 'Back Burner' and 'Largely Written Off' at Apple

I’m torn between this being the sort of thing Gurman has been wrong about before and this being pretty obviously true. I know there are some who tried to claim otherwise but without a differentiating factor the Mac Pro really struggles to stand out from its less expensive counterpart, the Studio. Apple would need the fabled Extreme chip or at least some way of vastly improving the IO capabilities of the Ultra without impacting their bottom line for the normal Max/Ultra devices.

Here's what I went with, understanding I could've gone for the M5 but I really want the 16" model and this is roughly the same configuration for my Mac Studio which has been great running all my photo and video editing apps.
