Does yalls BMW's come to a complete stop when using TACC? The TACC in my wifes 2019 Honda only goes down to 35 before shutting off.
My Ariya will come to a complete stop, if necessary. If it slows down but does not fully stop, it will resume travel, but a full stop kills cruise. I wish it would give more distance ahead and not stop like a normal driver but try to calculate the correct reduced speed for not having tg stop, as I do, but it works well enough.

I’ve done it many times on Page Mill Road here which is a surface street. Technically that’s in the Assisted Driving mode - I am never in the pure TACC mode because there would be no benefit to disabling steering assist, etc., so it’s possible that cars equipped without assisted driving behave differently.
Will it stop at stop signs and red traffic lights?

Nice. I think we would need a newer than 2019 Passport to get a system that can come to a complete stop.

I don’t *think* so, but it certainly is aware of them because it throws up an alert and a chime if it thinks I’m going to blow through one. Never tried to see what happens if I go for it, but i don’t think it stops.

My car does not recognize those things, but she can see speed limit signs, and I could set cruise to adjust itself to the speed limit. Sadly, she does not read curve speeds and is not good about adjusting speed for them. She has automatic high-beam dimming but sometimes sees a stoplight as a car. Still, conservative use of high beams is probably preferable.
