Organizers of the Vancouver International Auto Show say the event broke attendance records after it attracted international headlines for banning Tesla on safety grounds.

There is a weird dynamic going on here. The four or six thousand dollars a week that some government employee might have taken home is a completely different thing compared to Ell'no's billions. They are not even related in practical terms. Ell'no's money is not about paying the bills, it is about wielding power over others. In that respect, wealthy people should not even be allowed to participate in governance, because they do not really understand what money is and does.

Yeah, and it would be way more funny if you weren’t spot on. He and Trump put the whiniest person in the office to shame. These guys have more victimhood mentality when they’re the biggest grifters and liars in the room. The ego is immense, they literally feel anything they do is correct, true and right merely because of who they are. And despite over half the country not buying it, there’s enough who bend over backwards at their own peril to tell these two assclowns they are absolutely correct.

With all that money, you’d think the easiest thing for either of them to do would be go away. Finally, to make matters worse, I’ll also never be able to whine about politicians at large or take anyone seriously when they say they loathe corruption or the ruling class (or the “deep state”), especially from a republican, because they are saying, doing and voting for all of the textbook stereotypical “corrupt politician” things.

Not being facetious here, the love for Trump reminds me of my love for Stone Cold Steve Austin in 1996. But that was fiction and I was 12… I generally don’t support physically assaulting your boss, but his boss was Vince McMahon. I say all that to say people treat Trump like he’s an anti-hero or like this is a movie or a car wreck to slow down for, but it’s real life and these chuckleheads don’t get it. Maybe they will when they find out the dead people getting social security aren’t real, but the jobs cut at the social security offices and the longer hold times to find out where your payment is are very real. /endrant
