yes, i bought that camera for the lens that came with it because i wanted these bubbles. the camera was sold as-is and it does have some light leaks, but I kind of like them. It's just not an everyday camera.

Yeah, the creaminess of the background behind the lights is what really shows the quality here, this is where a cheaper lense really stands out.

I dunno...it is kind of a cheap lens, lol, but remember that film is way more forgiving than digital.

Do you know what it stops down to? I know that I had both a 50mm 1.8 and a 50mm.14, and the 1.4 was very similar to this and was nice and smooth. The 1.8 was decent but was a bit garbled in the same areas, could very well be a digital thing, I've just really noticed the difference with the lenses.
