That's my friend Owen, preaching his beliefs at the corner of Powell and Market Streets in downtown San Francisco. Owen occupied that spot five days a week for close to thirty years. The other two days you'd find him in downtown Oakland with a different sign and similar message.

Though I disagree with everything portrayed on his sign and his views, I do admire his tenacity and commitment. Over a period of around a dozen years we got to know each other pretty well and had more than a few spirited conversations. He also had some mad skills designing and making his sign - zoom in to check it out.
