A couple Aurora photos from last night, first is from my Sony mirrorless and the other is from my iPhone while I was sitting in the middle of this secluded road.

Yup, certainly the best camera I’ve ever owned . We were bummed not being in New England for the northern lights but lucked out hard catching them in New Mexico. High desert is where it’s at for me, I dig the climate and the vibe here, and there’s a decent selection of ski areas to slay.

Up in the hills around my house, I spent most of the time looking for decent foregrounds.

The first one was taken yesterday at 5:30 pm. I've never seen an" explosion" of clouds like that
Could be related to the solar storm?
Below at 9 pm, even with the city lights and the last one just over my head

I wonder why in some latitude the colours are more purple than green, but it's fun to watch everywhere
