The fall of Tesla

Whenever I see musk in his black pants, black coat, and black hat, bouncing around somewhere... oddly, he reminds me of Angus Young.

How much better it would be if he reminded us of Bon Scott.

Bon Scott was very special... with loads of charisma. Brian Johnson, eh... :(

musk just needs to strap a grade school book pack on his back and he'll be complete.

The market for used Teslas is also down.

From CNN
Searches for used Teslas decreased 16% over the past month, while demand for used non-Tesla electric vehicles has increased 28% over the past year.

And it’s not just internet searches. CarGurus, a car-buying site, found that used Tesla prices are falling at more than double the rate of the average used car price. The Cybertruck, the controversial steel-sided pickup, fared the worst of any Tesla vehicle, with a resale value 58% less than its original price, according to CarGurus.

Not that anyone cares but if nothing else it's good to keep track of this stuff for archival purposes.

Amid a streak of absenteeism at its Grünheide, Brandenburg, factory in Germany, Tesla has reportedly withheld pay from its employees on medical leave. As reported by German newspaper Handelsblatt, the automaker sent mass letters to employees who have called in sick, which expressed doubts as to the veracity of their claims of illness or injury. Not only that, but Tesla also asked said employees to divulge their diagnoses and release their doctors from their "duty of confidentiality." The Berlin-Brandenburg Gigafactory produces the company's battery cells, as well as the Tesla Model Y.

My friend was watching a video where the presenter was listing his gripes about my Ariya, most of which were fair enough. One of them was "it's ugly," which I will not dispute; then he said now let's look instead at this Tesla – holy crap, if you are complaining about ugly, going to the inventor of ugly is the wrong move.
