The Republican Agenda 2021 and Forward

Finally, safety and health for all.

“He says, ‘If you give me the data, all I want is the data, and I’ll take on the data and show that it’s not safe.’ And then if you pull the product liability (protections), the companies will yank these vaccines right off, off of the market,” Lutnick said.

Trump also posted on Truth Social that Kamala is lying about his stance on the ACA - he claims he never wanted to overturn it. No defense of this lunatic and his Hitler regime.

This guy in charge of health and Musk in charge of the economy, what could go wrong?

This is sad. 😥

Candace Fails screamed for someone in the Texas hospital to help her pregnant daughter. “Do something,” she pleaded, on the morning of Oct. 29, 2023.

Nevaeh Crain was crying in pain, too weak to walk, blood staining her thighs. Feverish and vomiting the day of her baby shower, the 18-year-old had gone to two different emergency rooms within 12 hours, returning home each time worse than before.
...
Now on Crain’s third hospital visit, an obstetrician insisted on two ultrasounds to “confirm fetal demise,” a nurse wrote, before moving her to intensive care.

By then, more than two hours after her arrival, Crain’s blood pressure had plummeted and a nurse had noted that her lips were “blue and dusky.” Her organs began failing.

Hours later, she was dead.

On January 20, RFK will be sitting with Steve Bannon or some rando on Newsmax discussing why it should really be him making the health decisions in a Trump admin, instead of the qualified person who’s actually doing it in a rightful Harris admin.

Get lost maggot brain!

I was quite wrong on the administration, but there’s still a greater than zero chance this guy will be sitting in on Steve Bannon’s podcast as if it’s a normal interview with Lester Holt.

We’ve got four years of Vivek coming our way too, can’t wait for that.

This falls perfectly in the GOP’s big plan for the next big killer pandemic. Withhold vaccinations, but have a secret supply for the loyals. Great way to reduce our numbers of the wrong people, or maybe a big swath of the minions on both sides and blame the liberals somehow, hmm. The one problem might be, we have to convince some of our dummies to secretly partake… 🤔

The in-fighting has already started. Senate old-guard is trying to keep Trump out of the leadership race, but the goof troop are calling some of them RINOs - including Josh Hawley, because he has endorsed Sen. Cornyn for majority leader.

This is a win. Cornyn isn’t as bad as some of the others (though it’s certainly not as if I like or agree with him on anything), and Hawley is getting called a RINO.

The usual outside agitators like Tucker and Loomer are fanning the flames, and MTG is saying only people who have been sufficiently “loyal” to Trump should be in his cabinet (meaning someone like her).

They’re literally inheriting the greatest economy with the promise to get inflation down, gas prices down, lower taxes and not have people struggling more. Good luck, I’m truly not rooting for that to not happen. Quite the opposite. But man, I don’t see it. If the last two years are any indication, the republican party is really two parties who join forces to obstruct democrats. But they often do battle with each other too.

Here are the approx numbers:
  • US Adult citizens: 337M
  • Harris: 71M (21%)
  • Trump: 74.6M 22%)
  • Ambivalent Non-Voters: 191M (56%)

This is just how fragile democracy is. You have to be willing to give it up or it’s no longer democracy, but something else. We just voted democracy down by electing a lawless, authoritarian.

Logic, law abiding, and reasoned, we are currently outnumbered by ambivalence and self serving STUPID motivated by hate, not just hate, but blind hate, completely hostile to the ideals set forth in our Constitution, which is now just a piece of toilet paper to wipe our arses with. Whether they know what they wrought or not, really does not matter at this point, they voted to burn it down. So be it.

Do you think the billionaires are going to rally for democratic principles? No they’ll move to save their aSSDs and preserve their wealth. You and I and our democratic ideals are expendable. But that’s the irony here, democracies only last when there is majority agreement to have the democracy. Our system is set up so 22% (74.6M) could vote down our democracy because the majority 56% (191M) did not give a damn, or maybe they wanted this too? 🤔

We’re all going to suffer, and at this point I really hope they all especially suffer horribly for their lack of vision, as their fantasies implode on them. 🔥

I don’t know why I’m subjecting myself to this plastic, phony, ass-kissing clown, but there is no humanity, even from the son of immigrants. I’m sure he’d be self-deporting right away if he found out his parents came here illegally.

Ramaswamy also said that Trump will stick to his campaign pledge “in a way that respects the dignity of Americans who are already here.” But Karl also followed up with asking whether Dreamers will also be deported as part of this — something Ramaswamy did not reject.

“I say this as the kid of legal immigrants to this country, the proud child of legal immigrants to the United States of America,” Ramaswamy said. “If your first act of entering this country broke the law, that doesn’t allow you to remain in this country. You have no right to enter the United States.”

You heard it. If you dare come over our border at the age of six months, you broke the law. The last twenty years of being a productive citizen who goes to college and works and pay taxes means nothing - you were in the arms of a border crosser, and thus guilty as well.

This is what we’re up against. A Republican Party that tries to balance traditional conservatism with white nationalism, usually favoring the white nationalism.

No.

That is the total US population.

There are some 73 Million Americans who are too young to vote, around 23 million immigrants who are probably mostly not eligible to vote, plus about 3 million Puerto Ricans who cannot vote, and about five million felons who do not have voting rights.

That leaves around 90 million or so. Probably two-thirds of those are just totally tuned out of politics and would not vote anyway, which leaves you around 30 million or so who did not vote, almost certainly a non-small number of whom were purged in various states and were prevented from voting, which may well account for much of the lower number Ms Harris received.

^ good point. FWIW this wikipedia page gives voting age and voting eligible figures, indicating (estimated) about a 63% turnout. That’s a lot less than the 69.9% of 2020 though, which does speak to @Huntn’s point I guess. A lot of people sat this one out or - as @Yoused writes - some were were purged and couldn’t vote.

Whatever, a bad outcome however we dice it.

But that doesn’t change the fact that he has a mandate from less than a quarter of the population which he’ll use to greatly increase inequality while creating a police state for the rest of us and using immunity to justify the illusion of peace and order. His rally going direct supporters will continue to subsist off their bloodlust while the shortsighted economy voters will wake up after its far too late.

The silver lining is the house will again have a razor-thin majority and some of them are in in still super-swingy districts.

Dems definitely need a makeover, no doubt about it. The corporate swine continue to enrich themselves whether we have a record economy or a global pandemic. Nothing eases their earning, and the fact election results can - on speculation alone - make people billions richer is a joke.

Trump has promised a lot. He’s made things seem so dire (though he’ll immediately come in bragging how he’s turned the country around in 24 hours). He has a lot to improve. I expect us to begin burning money immediately. And the good news for dems is, it’s easier to be on offense than defense.

Lets hope a woman goes bobbit on him.

This needs to be blasted all over the media. There is no equivalent on the left. None. I often say there is no “half the country” as far as party affiliation or political issues, but this asshole is gleefully celebrating Trump’s win as validation that slightly over half the country are inferior second class citizens completely at the control of men which he thinks is hilarious. "Your body. My decision." "There will NEVER be a female president!" And he is far from fringe. He has millions of followers.

He has his detractors too.
