iPhone 16 reactions - weird

The AI parts are activated in the settings apple intelligence & siri settings so it is not something designed to turn on and off.

here is what it looks like. when you use Siri you now get a lighted ring around the whole screen.

Ok...now I'm grumpy - realize that they haven't turned this on in Canada?! Really Apple?!

Edit: If you change your language to English (United States) you can join the "Waitlist" ... (done)
Edit2: Then it changes to "Preparing"
- then you go through some additional Siri learning prompts, chose which notifications you want it to summarize for you and it's enabled.
A LOT of businesses up here actually use American English (I guess it's easier when sending correspondence south of the border?) So, likely won't be a problem - I'll switch it back once it's officially supported up here.

Here’s a really weird reaction from ostensibly a competitor: Sony uses iPhone 16s in their promotional material (over their own phones) for advertising Sony services and other products.
