I’m getting annoyed at having to deal with threads, bluesky and Mastodon. Wish everyone just went to mastodon. At least Reeder lets me view posts from all three (at least for threads people who didn’t opt out of fediversing), but it’s still annoying.

Agreed, I am down on threads. Lots of crap on it, not that Twitter was the anything to hold as the standard.

Just joined BlueSky and I have hopes for it, none of the others have been able to get a real foothold. It'll be interesting to see which one ends up taking over.

I remember being irked at switching from MySpace to Facebook. Each app that came out - Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter - all seemed like variations of the same thing. I post on Facebook and I can watch cat vids on YouTube. I don’t need twenty apps with repeat functionality.

In all honesty, I don’t care what happens to any of these apps/sites/platforms, they’re all redundant.

We're in the same boat. Except I dropped Facebook a couple years back. Replaced it with peace and silence. It's been wonderful!

In general I really couldn't agree more here. The only difference is that Instagram has turned into a dedent side job for me so I put a lot of time and energy into it, otherwise I really wouldn't care but I'll say that watching fart videos on TikTok and laughing my ass off has turned into a thing.

What’s sad about this, supposing Musk’s claim to be true, is that even mild ASD needs support.

It appears, because of his particular situation occupying a highly rarefied cohort, he isn’t getting it. Instead, he seems to be one of the loneliest people on the planet, with behaviors such as awkwardness, inappropriate aggression and/or disruptiveness and inability to read social cues unaddressed and left to fester .

It could explain a lot but Musk’s situation is exceptional anyway, so

It is likely that he will restore them to control of Jones so that he can continue to Xcrete bullshit on Blunts' platform.

I suspect that what angers Elno the most is that the families were able to award InfoWars to someone other than the highest bidder, which means he might not be able to just buy whatever the hell he wants even though he is absurdly wealthy.
