I found the video where he walks through joining Xwixxex. He shows setting up an account, and one screen requires him to follow someone, so he looks through the list and selects Laura fuckin Loomer. He says, no biggie, I can unfollow her right away, but just that one click would be enough to tag him for a RWer.

Not that there were better options in the list, but it would be interesting to see if one could find a non-RWer to follow initially whether a less insane feed could be had. I mean, I am guessing not, but it would be worth a try.

I generally like representative Ro Khanna, but he recently said in a discussion panel he believes Musk turned far right because Democrats didn’t praise him enough for his science contributions with Tesla and Space X. WTF is he talking about? Democrats and the left near universally worshipped him until he started posting and elevating reactionary contrarianism and fascist thinking.

I think it goes more personal and behind the scenes than that. Due to the fact that he can be socially awkward and creepy he started getting excluded from the Silicon Valley cool kids parties. Like Trump, that’s all he really ultimately cares about and feels his wealth should guarantee he gets admired and respected by the cool kids. At some point they snap and start exhibiting behavior that even more guarantees that will never happen. They try to manufacture their own following of cool kids but deep down inside they know they aren’t. Sad.
