The Trump Cesspool Thread- a place to drop misc Trump turds

This is odd: a truck has a problem of some sort, its load bursts into flame, and an I-95 overpass collapses from the conflagration, leading to some inconveniences for a few people. The odd part (vaguely relevant to this thread) is that the incident happened about a block and a half away from Four Seasons Total Landscaping.

That overpass was technically Four Seasons Total Landscaping’s ballroom.

Ahahaha. This is the tactic Trump has always taken, but he usually does it to avoid lengthy litigation. Or just because he’s mad, like he was with Bill Maher, whom he sued for calling him an orangutan.

When you do it as a pre-emotive strike and it works, it’s sleazy but effective. When you do it after you’ve already lost in public fashion, you look petty and erratic, which he certainly is.

It's now quite apparent, if it hasn't already been, that there are two tiers of justice in America. One is for the average person of limited means and the other is for people of means. The latter can continually appeal adverse decisions and delay accountability by filing motion after motion. It's been a long time since the Jan. 6 insurrection, since Trump stole top secret documents and obstructed their return and yet he's still out there making deranged, threatening speeches and playing golf, not to mention running again for president so he can do even more damage to the country. Enough already.

It has to be something in the water. Just look at all these idiots in South Carolina.

"I can’t fathom how they can idolize a twice impeached, twice indicted, sexual abuser and racist for President."

That's what is most disturbing about Trump, that his supporters overlook his crimes, his constant lying, his cheating and his despicable, vindictive personality. I just don't get it except that they are as ignorant as he is. Although I think I heard somewhere that he may be paying people, at least some of them, to show up.

More of the Mar-a-Lago classified documents search warrant affidavit has been unsealed:
Do we really need more disclosure or evidence about Trump? He's on tape at Bedminster showing documents that he knew were classified and he obstructed attempts to recover them at Mar-A-Lardo, just to stay with this case and not get into the attempt to block the peaceful transfer of power, the hush money payment case, etc. It makes a mockery of our alleged system of justice that this lifelong criminal is still out there playing golf and spreading lies and conspiracy theories, connecting Jack Smith to the cocaine found at the White House being among the latest.

"This MAGA moron believes Trump is still president, Biden is dead and an “actor” is sitting in the Oval Office."

The fact that these whack jobs are allowed to vote is immensely concerning.

That just confirms the fact that if you take your average person, half the people out there are dumber than they are. It always used to be a punchline to a joke. Then politics changed and a pandemic happened and they came out of the woodwork for all to see.

Walt Nauta was arraigned today. If he’s wearing a wire, it’s not like we’d know. Just sayin’.

They (Trump,Nauta) have zero defense. There’s going to come a time - and we may already be there - that Trump’s bravado and mouth breathing may be futile. As President, he excelled at being able to fill the vacuum created when the FBI/DoJ and others remain silent to protect the integrity of their investigations. Trump was and is under no such obligation (although now he’d be helping himself to STFU), and he uses that to lie, promote conspiracies and drum up outrage from his supporters.

However, in a court of law, literally everything Trump has said is easily refuted by law. “These were my documents”, “I didn’t have the documents”, “I had the right to defy a subpoena” do not work in federal court. Those are signs of denial and delusion, and they will be seen as such - quickly - in court. He’s not going to be able to spend weeks standing in front of jurors saying “Jack Smith is a lunatic and Joe Biden has documents in Chinatown”.

I honestly would not be surprised if he tried to cut a deal at some point, though I don’t know if prosecutors would settle for that, given the brazenness of what is alleged. He would likely try to spin the deal as “succumbing to the mob to move my campaign forward”, but there may be limits to saying those things and upholding the bargain. Not sure what the laws say about that.

Either way, his house of cards arguments will quickly be brushed off in court. I’m astounded at how Trump’s BS is bought by so many, but I’d love to see the looks on the face of the judge and prosecutors if Trump’s lawyers try to make any of the arguments he’s making in public.

I'm OK with that and want to see no stone or criminal act unturned. This is the one chance to get the complete trump story right and accurate, and to ensure accountability for trump and his inner circle of participants.

Here's the latest with what Jack Smith is investigating:
