I take some small comfort in the fact that he's getting grifted by his lawyers charging him millions to just spin the delay tactic peg board or making some "The overwhelming proof of my client's guilt makes it impossible to get a fair trial" objection. Cha-ching.

I always withhold my laughter while I’m reading these until I can confirm that it’s satire. That is not always the case these days.

Fatty Dumb-Dumb is not going to the debate next week, choosing instead to sit down with Tucker Carlson for a softball interview.

What a “fighter”. From a legal and campaign standpoint, it makes sense. There’s nothing he can say that won’t offer Jack Smith and Fani Willis more evidence, and he’s so far ahead of the others that it’s really not necessary for him to show up.

Still, it’s a weak look.

Somebody needs to make a photoshop of Jack Smith, Fani Willis and their teams sitting in a conference room eating popcorn while watching the Carlson interview.

Meanwhile, in the Florida case I fully expect the legal analysis to be “Well, at least today Judge Cannon didn’t order the bailiff to shoot the witness for the prosecution as they approached the stand. This newly found restraint is showing some real growth and maturity.”
