Looks like a stable guy. Hopefully they end background checks and permits nationwide so we can all have all the toys we want for sport and protection. Make it harder to vote and easier to shoot, that’s the conservative way.

gun violence org identifies that shooting as Nov 1st, probably because it happened after midnight. The actual Halloween shooting was in Delaware, leaving only one person dead.

Of the 442 shoot-em-ups so far this year, there have been arrests in 171 of them. That is like 39%. 2024 has been quieter than 2023 in terms of mass gun violence (we have not had a really big incident like the one last year in Maine), but it seems likely that the decline is nothing more than statistical noise rather than a trend.

"Anti-religious nut" is not evident. It is a SDA school: there are quite a few christian/christian-adjacent sects out there. SDA is not the greatest outlier, but they are oddball enough that they might be seen as illegitimate by other sects. The shooter (who took the short exit) may well have been anti-SDA, not anti-religion.
