RFK will insist a McDonald’s based diet is healthier than eating whole and natural foods. We all know these people check their beliefs and principles at the threshold to the door of the Trump cult.

We all know fat and angry 80 year olds don’t die, they live forever, so if Trump doesn’t last another few decades, it MUST have been the fault of a democrat or possibly a RINO. I would appreciate it if you discontinued insulting the developmentally disabled (whom my mother taught in school for decades) by comparing them to the biggest, foulest piece of fairway plop in existence. They are people who struggle to make it in life, while he strives to make everyone else's life more of a struggle than it needs to be.

I understand, which is I try not to use the other word. I’ve used this a bit and didn’t get pushback, but I figured I’d stop if I did, so consider it done. I have to come up with something on my own that fits and is unique to him. That’s ok, I love a challenge.

(When I was younger, I helped out in a class with mentally and other cognitively impaired kids and they were awesome with awesome parents. I don’t get too hung up on language - I focus on intent and who’s saying it and why - and sometimes need a mild scolding. It’s not my intent to compare them to him but I certainly see how it obviously comes across that way).

Shitgibbon is fitting but almost too cute for him, like something you’d say to a naughty dog. All that said, I definitely think Trump is developmentally disabled as well. There is something seriously wrong here. His ego and addiction to self may have affected his midbrain (not hyperbolic, it happens with addictions of all types). Self-imposed mental decline?

Perhaps something simple and mono-syllabic like "Neb" ( for Nobody Else But (Me) ). I will just stick with ShitGibbon (because of the shit he gibbers), or Individual-ONE ( Our National Embarrassment ) when I need to be polite.

In actual news, the cult leader, President-elect Musk and carpetbagger couchboy are having Daniel Penny as a guest. Because he killed a black dude and was found not guilty in NYC.

I’m sure there’s nothing anti-black about three allies of white supremacists inviting a guy known for choking a black man to death as a guest. Look, the guy was found not guilty and I’m perfectly cool with that. But he’s not a hero in the traditional sense. A mentally ill guy was stirring shit on the subway and got choked out to death. Penny is not a victim or a hero, he’s merely not guilty.

Oh, and he’s inviting Xi Jinping to his inauguration. Nothing goofy or dictator-worshipping about that either. Trump on one hand hates China, but he also loves his dictators.
 
Well, now, this is disconcerting. The next door neighbor has just placed two flags over his front porch. One is a standard red field flag with the USMC device in the middle. The other is a solid black flag that, upon close inspection, has the American flag design stitched into it in black. I am not quite sure what to make of it, which is probably his intent.

The black flag typically evokes a no prisoners attitude of defiance, which is consonant with the Marines flag. But, he does not seem to be particularly MAGAty (he has a Chevy Bolt), and sometimes the black flag signifies dissatisfaction with the regime. I did not observe them celebrating the election result. I just hope he is a Terran (as described by Ford Prefect: "most harmless").
 
I was under the belief that Trump voters voted for Trump and not the official and unofficial dumpster fire clown car he’s surrounding himself with, but according to at least one focus group I was exactly wrong about that. Everybody in the group pretty much agreed Trump is a POS, but they are impressed with the likes of Musk and RFK Jr.

BTW when Michelle Obama made nutrition her cause the right was near universally “Fuck off. Don’t tell me what to eat!”. Now when it’s coming from a conspiracy theorist (dare I say white guy) it’s all “Healthy eating should be a priority!” from the right. But in their defense and never underestimating the depths of dumb, Michelle did make it sound like you are an active participant with hard choices to be made. These voters probably believe RFK is just magically going to make frozen pizza healthy.

As for Michelle's school nutrition debacle, she simply went too far. Kids are growing and need nutritious food to eat, but having nutritious food doesn't help when they won't eat it.

To be fair, some of it was the requirements and some of it was school boards either not understanding the regs or not caring and doing the bare minimum. My daughter took her lunch most days so it didn't affect us much. Until one little :poop: who shall remain nameless kept burning popcorn in the microwaves (on purpose) to stink up the cafeteria, So they removed student access to them for a month and then had a teacher supervise their use.
 
One by one the tech oligarchs have been donating millions to Trump's inauguration fund. He's not even back in office yet and we're already getting started with the new list of "I did not know that/how is that legal?" The donations need to be reported by the donors but Trump doesn't have to do a damn thing including not having to spend it on the inauguration. He can just pocket all of it or what remains. These assholes are just paying tribute in the hopes that he won't fuck with them.
 
I'm not an isolationist or a big believer in American exceptionalism, but for those who are I would have some questions.

With having a handful of the richest people on earth, massive executive compensation, and record profits, why would you celebrate a $100 billion investment in the US by a Japanese firm? Shouldn't America first be making that investment?

$100 billion is a lot of money. It's also just ¼ the current wealth of Elon Musk. One person. This is often hard to quantify but it's estimated that this investment will create 100,000 jobs. So does anybody honestly believe Elon Musk does the job of 400,000 people?
