We're now in the end stages here. Had the last appointment with vet folks that she'll probably ever have this morning. Looks like a cancer has progressed far enough that chemotherapy won't do much good, and isn't worth it. Don't know which cancer is ultimately getting her, although it is academic at this point.

She's starting to wind down it looks like, but she does seem to still like going outside. Maybe a couple weeks at this point.

I ordered some stupid little clear plastic cats that you can stuff some of their hair in. Made my daughter cry which was not my intention, but she had some of his hair (from almost a year ago) so she was glad she had someplace to put it.

So sorry to hear. I hope her time left lets you enjoy her company and that she’s not in pain.

Unfortunately, her decline was faster than we were really prepared for. She started to hemorrhage yesterday, and so we had someone come out to help her pass peacefully in our back yard. At least she was able to enjoy her last hour in the sun with her family, and tear apart a tortilla chip with what appetite she had left.
