Donald Trump 2024 Presidential Campaign Announcement Nov. 15

Here’s my TLDR, post - Don’t tell me Biden has or is showing signs of dementia and walk backwards from that logic. I can write a well-reasoned and sounding argument about why Trump is brilliant, but I’d be wrong from jump street.

He’s getting ready to announce. They showed a shot of the crowd at Moron Lardo and immediately played my favorite game when I see large groups of conservatives; find the black people. I came up zero.

Let’s make him a one-term, twice-impeached, two time election-failing, three-time popular vote-losing failure.

Trump is pretty sharp so far, I’ll give him that. His usual blunder and hyperbole, but he definitely looks more spry than Joe behind a podium. Trump didn’t age much while on the golf course during his first term.

And the man is a miracle maker. He went decades without a war, in just four years. Maybe it's the golf.

He’s his usual self on one hand, and hard to take serious. But when compared to only himself, he’s the sharpest he’s ever been. 😳

He hasn’t even mentioned election fraud yet. I don’t like the guy, but I’d imagine I’d like what he’s saying if I did.

He did a good job, in comparison to his usual self. He was in the zone and was on message, and laid off the fraud.

CNN is having a field day with his speech.

Yeah but from snippets referred to in the NYT, he ran the same old grim gloomy "American carnage" thing and proposes he alone can fix it. F that, I'm not listening to that all over again. No wonder the GOP doesn't want him on the trail either. The guy can be a real downer. But the real reason the GOP doesn't want him in the picture is outcomes: the guy is a full-on magnet for Republican losses, macro and micro.

It’s going to be awfully interesting to see how republicans procede. Two years of this? With an indictment looming? The freedom caucus being able to make or break everything McCarthy puts forth?

What a shit show.

Trump should be under indictment for multiple crimes, some of which - missing documents - are ongoing. It makes a mockery of the judicial system that he has so far escaped any accountability. Is he counting on Garland being hesitant to appear political by indicting someone from another party who is running for office? In that case, maybe the next time someone robs a bank they should say they're running for president as a Republican and have similar immunity from prosecution.

Fox made it sound like a second coming in their reaction. They were in awe.
Consider the source.

Go for it Fox. And GOP. You'd be fools to take him back as your rep. All I saw was lies upon lies.
Really hope the Dems come up with a younger, dynamic candidate. TFG needs to be put out to pasture. In prison.

One of my work mates from the UK nailed it.
