Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) called for President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for attorney general, Pam Bondi, to bring "murder charges" against the Capitol Police officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbit during the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.
"Yes, 100%," Greene responded after the Washington Examiner asked if she supported charges for the Babbit shooting.
"I would hope that our new incoming attorney general, who I like a lot, I like Pam Bondi a lot, I hope that she looks into it and would consider murder charges, some sort of charges. At least," Greene said............

Ashely Babbitt was a mentally unwell and misled criminal. It’s amazing how their special pleading is directly proportional to the skin tone of the criminal. The darker they are, the more “it was a justified killing” seems to apply.
I’m sad someone needlessly lost their life. I’m sorry the family lost a loved one. I’m sad an officer had to take that action to defend himself and others from a mob of brainwashed cult followers who were there to cause trouble. She had a gun pointed at her with a barrier between them. She could have turned back. She pressed forward. I’ve listened for over twenty years while the shitheads at Fox News tell everyone to “just comply”, they’re dead silent when people of color comply and are shot dead anyways (or never given the chance in the first place).
Next time, keep a better eye on your unwell relatives and maybe try to talk them out of trying to overturn an election.
If I was a Babbitt supporter, I’d ask for someone more mentally competent than MTG to advocate for us.

M T Wharrgarbl has the advantage of being loud. At the very least, she gets coverage. The press does not have to report all her blortings, but it seems like they do.
