Trump won, but Harris still has her dignity intact. These clowns do not.

The bill was filed on November 20 by Garcia, a Republican who has served in the Florida State Senate since 2020.

The "Weather Modification Activities" bill sets out that "the injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of a chemical, a chemical compound, a substance, or an apparatus into the atmosphere within the borders of this state for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, the weather, or the intensity of sunlight is prohibited."

Surely this means injection of any chemical or chemical byproduct including greenhouse gases would be prohibited as the latter - without doubt - affect temperature, weather and intensity of sunlight? I guess "for the express purpose of" is Garcia’s escape clause, unfortunately.
 
Trump-pardoned convicted felon sleaze Dinesh D’Souza recently released a statement apologizing for false information in his MAGA cult classic “2,000 Mules”.

We all knew it was BS when it came out - that’s Dinesh’s specialty after all - so I’m glad he could catch up several years later to inform his brainwashed followers what was obvious to thinking agents from jump street.

I’m glad he apologized to an innocent person who he dragged into the cult crosshairs for no good reason, but he won’t learn. Fleecing the rubes is lucrative, and he and others will absolutely do it again.

D'Souza's statement says interviews in the film make clear that True the Vote "was correlating the videos to geolocation data." But, he wrote, "We recently learned that surveillance videos used in the film may not have actually been correlated with the geolocation data."

He acknowledged that the film and book "create the impression that these individuals were mules that had been identified as suspected ballot harvesters based on their geotracked cell phone data." Though their faces were blurred, Andrews has publicly come forth and sued over the use of his image, and D'Souza said he owes Andrews an apology.

Kind of a side note, but if you want to see how awful Dinesh is when he can’t control the narrative, watch him get destroyed by the far superior journalist and intellectual Christopher Hitchens in their debate. Or Matt Dillahunty. Dinesh is just another one of those guys who’s a stupid person’s idea of smart.

Oh, and in case you forgot, a convicted felon. One of several in the Trump and Trump-adjacent orbit.

A rare moment of true bipartisanship! I can dig it. To even it out, I thought for sure Pelosi would retire too. She’s not in leadership and she’d be powerful out of office, so I don’t know why she’s sticking around. It’s time. She can give virtually the same leadership advice outside of congress as she could within.

Mitch is in a similar situation.

Really, anyone over 80 who’s served for decades is sticking around too long.
 
I think one reason Mitch didn’t go is KY, even as red as it is, has a Dem Governor. So he probably didn’t want to lose the seat. But he has 4 more years.
 
The final house race was called - Dems flipped a seat. The count is 220-215, and may be 217-215 at the start of the new congress.

Mike Johnson has his work cut out for him.

Pete Hegseth sounds like he's tanking. Someone else withdrew their name from the nomination, can't remember who at the moment. Trump is hiring felons and family (one guy is both). It's a real joke of an admin and it hasn't even started.

Rumors are Trump may replace Hegseth with DeSantis. Obviously, I don't agree with DeSantis on much, but Meatball Ron is infinitely more qualified than Hegseth.
 
Heard some background on the guy who will be in charge of the national budget, Russell Vought, a position that gets little attention but holds a lot of potential power for somebody who wants to abuse it and he does. He’s a co-author of Project 2025 and a real piece of work. He fully believes the government is already completely captured by the far left which is an abomination to the natural order. To him anybody left of center (and probably center too) is a socialist/marxist/communist. To him they are all completely interchangeable synonymous terms as is the case with most right-wing knuckle draggers. He believes these people aren’t to be negotiated with. They need to be destroyed. He’s already preemptively written countless legal justifications for the president to use the military against US citizens. He knows the agenda is unpopular and therefor wants to enact a military police state to crush any protests.
