I just now saw it! Amazing shot!Another look.
Not only that, but it’s weird how the guy who claims he is so independent somehow exactly parrots Trump campaign talking points about Harris verbatim. Especially since in the case of gender reassignment surgery for inmates was actually a policy by the Bureau of Prisons developed during … checks notes … the Trump administration. Also … seriously who gives a flying fuck? Who think that’s costing the tax payers serious money? Why is that even an issue to vote against someone for?
That there's too complicated. You can't put it in four words on a hat.I don't think so. "Defund" was a poor choice of words. That literally means reduce a police department's yearly budget down to $0, or significantly reduce. That sounds snappy, but I don't believe that ever happened. Clearly that can't be done.
A better phrase would have been: Re-fund the police. Meaning restructuring policing to include mental health services, citizen patrols, using other methods of policing (for example, the San Francisco police department using drones), etc. That has happened and apparently works well.
And what will be your takeaway if Republicans lose?
Now get off my Covfefe, I want to eat my Hamburders...
It’s actually hamberders.
But he’s still going to vote for him, right? He’s the worst in his own right. There is a new book coming out -who's not writing a book this days?!
"In a new biography of Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) by Michael Tackett of The Associated Press, obtained by CNN, McConnell condemned the MAGA movement and blamed Trump for making it hard for the Republican Party to compete. He called Trump “not very smart, irascible, nasty, just about every quality you would not want somebody to have.” He also went after Florida senator Rick Scott for his leadership of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, the party’s campaign arm."
It reminds me of The sorcerer 's apprentice , when Mickey has lost the power to control the brooms
Are there states that don’t have a postage free mail-in ballot option?
Yup. In my mind, McConnell is among the worst of the bunch. He could have avoided all this chaos by voting to convict Trump in his second impeachment trial – I think enough Republican senators would have gone along. It would have been better for the country and the party. But he’s still going to vote for him, right? He’s the worst in his own right.
At the presidential level, Washington and Oregon are historically solid Democratic states, with Joe Biden winning them in 2020 by over 19 percentage points and 16 points, respectively.
However, there’s a crucial House race in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District between Democratic incumbent Marie Gluesenkamp Perez and Republican Joe Kent, whom Donald Trump endorsed. She narrowly won in 2022, with a margin of 2,633 votes over Kent, who also ran that year. Her victory was a shock in this red-tinted district, which 538 calculated as having a partisan lean of R+11.2.
As investigations unfold, the potential implications of political provocateurs aiming to silence American voters extend beyond the immediate damage; they threaten voter confidence and participation in a democratic system already under strain by Trump and MAGA misinformation.
I didn't even have to worry about postage. I filled my ballot out and dropped it off at the ballot dropbox outside the elections office (it's about a 2 mile drive). We were already going that direction, so it was super easy. Then I don't even have to be concerned about the USPS and mail delays. I dropped mine off over the weekend and got a text that it was accepted and will be counted yesterday. As an added bonus, it seems those drop boxes have pretty good fire suppression systems. Just in case.
Same. I have to admit, at the time, it made me a tad nervous since in recent elections I've opted to drop off at a ballot box.I went old school mail box but with plenty of time in advance.
Seen this?
So are we talking social security, medicare, higher taxes - what?
"We have to reduce spending to live within our means..." says the guy who has never had to reduce his spending in his life.
Personally, I'd like to see the billionaires endure some hardship.

oh yes, not just audio, Twitter too. Basically openly saying they'll crash the economy but it'll be totally great ... eventually. You don’t have to believe me, it turns out you can believe them. For those who think Trump will help those struggling, Elon Musk says “nope! And that’s a good thing!” Austerity baby!
Oh they promise that you’ll appreciate the economy they create … eventually.
This is why I tried to explain that economic indicators were that the Biden recovery was doing really well. That doesn’t mean everyone is doing great, of course not, we had just come out of a pandemic driven recession and inflationary spiral. But my god, compared to Reagan’s “Morning in America” the current economy is incredible - indeed best in the G7. Combine that with the Trump plan to literally crash the damn economy … yeah, I’m sticking with the Biden economy being bad for the working person being conservative propaganda.
